New WEBsession: Pinterest

Have you ever wanted to save a photo or web find with just a click of a button? I know I used to keep a look book of  photos copied from my web searches or have a long list of bookmarked sites; now, there’s no need for that extra work! Pinterest.com is here to save the day. Install their app, and “pin” away. Make as many inspiration boards as you like. Mine range from Gorg Decor to Baubles (see below).

See a polish color you love? Pin it! How about a chair that would go perfectly in your room? Pin it!  The site saves your pins and takes you back to the website at your whim. Plus, you can share them with friends or even let them add to your boards. It’s a perfect way to get a party theme established or work on wedding day arrangements.

Home Decor Update!

I absolutely love scouring sites and shops for phenomenal home accent pieces. I love finding fun pieces for my LA apartment and cannot wait to furnish my own house someday!

In the mean time, I dream of my favorite styles and different room themes. One of my favorite past times is reading the online magazine LonnyMag. They recently introduced TRADHome – a magazine collaboration with Traditional Home. The first issue features 20 designers, including one of my favorites, Jonathan Adler!

This free publication gives over 300 pages of phenomenal decor ideas in every pattern imaginable. From page to page, I always find furniture I want to buy and styles I must emulate.

My favorite thing about it is that the photos are hyperlinks. Find a piece you can’t live without? Click to find the site. I keep ideas in a look book document that I can be updated each time I find new inspiration!
